Credit Solutions is no solution--they create new problems!

We got ourselves into way too much credit card debt and with nowhere else to turn, ended up hiring CREDIT SOLUTIONS. I cannot begin to tell you how much we regret this choice.
Once they get you into their so-called program, they are impossible to contact. They promise you that you will not have to hear from collection agencies any longer, but they never follow through on anything.
In our case, we also had problems with CHASE and ended up being threatened with arbitration, (twice!!) all because we stupidly assumed that Credit Solutions would do what they had promised to do. After weeks of being hassled, I got hold of someone at this place myself and found one woman there who actually had something more than a room temperature IQ. She did settle several of the cards for us.
We then were able to pay off Credit Solutions and settle all the rest of our cards, some of them on our own because we were sick and tired of trying to get the company to do their job.
But the kicker was that after having settled EVERYTHING several months ago, we continued to receive their insipid automated phone calls saying that there "has been an offer on one of your accounts". My husband is a really nice, easygoing guy--I am NOT such a nice person and I finally lost it a few weeks ago. Between us we had tried at least six times to explain to these morons in one syllable words that everything was done and over with and we wanted no more contact from them.
One day when they called, I completely lost my temper and told them in language I won't repeat what they needed to do with their phone calls.
My husband called again last week and we think (we HOPE) that they finally have the picture.
Needless to say, I say steer clear of this particular company. I am sure there are others out there which do a better job and are easier to deal with. I personally never want to hear their name again!

And I am adding an addendum to my earlier complaint: They actually called me AGAIN. This time I told someone there that if I get one more harassing call from them, I am going to see what it takes to file a formal complaint with the BBB or anybody else who will listen.
Also--the tax problem needs to be reiterated. They do not tell you that any debt they have "written off" counts as INCOME on the next year's taxes.
This is not a place you want to deal with--trust me!
