Do not use credit solutions.com. They misled me and outright lied to me. once I was in the contract, I could not back out. I paid them money and they did nothing to help me. in fact, they made my debt worse. the customer service was terrible. they never returned my calls. They gave me bad advice. I was supposed to have 3 years to pay off my debt and I was forced to pay it all in a year or go to court. Consult a lawyer before going with this company. it was the worst mistake I ever made.... Doug, Carrie, and Matt are still in it together...they lie to customer and they lie to employees. All their adds are false and misleading...the Resqdebt 'about us ad' is a joke, the guy giving a testimonial is an employee...formerly with Credit Solutions and now with the "new company" totally not associated with Credit Solutions, even in Doug's building and getting $$ filtered through Lending.com and CSA...Resqdebt. All BS...the real crime is why the FCC and Texas AG allow these people and these "two" companies to continue. |
| 4. Written by Dan C, on 23-07-2008 20:47 Credit solutions is a joke. It's true what the earlier post said that anything they can settle you can settle. And they hamstring you with payments to them and you dont have anything saved when they do get you a settlement offer which is usually very early in the program. The best settlements come after about 5 months of not making payments (just before the debt is charged off) but the collection agencies are a lot harder to deal with. Credit solutions *** and their customer service was terrible. I wasted about $6000 on them and ended up settling 90% of my debt by myself. They even cost me a great settlement offer from BOA because they didnt bother to contact them at my request. Horrible horrible company, dont give them a dime! |

Like I said - ANYTHING THEY CAN SETTLE, YOU CAN SETTLE YOURSELF! They have the worst customer service I've ever experienced. You can call up there and wait on hold for someone for 10 minutes - then get cut off so you can't leave a message. There is no reason to pay someone to settle your debts when you can do it yourself. Don't trust them. Save yourself the headache and money. Find another alternative. They WILL make matters worse. |
