Credit solutions is a debt service that charges 15% upfront on the total debt you have accumulated. They do nothing except take your money out of an automatic withdrawal from your bank account. Example: we received a summons from Chase to appear in court or have a lien placed against our home. Credit solutions, who claim they contact the credit card companies to work out a solution, never once contacted Chase. We finally resolved the credit debt with Chase directly. Stay away from this fraudulent company. They should be turned over to the IRS, and we are now doing so.
Credit Solutions is the worst company. DO NOT sign up with them. They take your money, then do absolutely NOTHING while your debt goes higher and higher and lawyers start to call to sue you. You can't imagine the *** you will go thru when dealing with this company and the bad advice they give you
I am a current employee for Richardson based Credit Solutions. I have something that should be brought out to the public. This company is misleading customers. They are ripping people off!
Credit Solutions is a debt settlement company. They settle customer's accounts. But there is alot of misleading the customers. They charge 15% of the total debt for their services. All the company does is advise customers to stop paying their bills and promises they can settle for a low amount of money. The sales department just wants people to sign up so they can start to drain people's bank accounts. The company only calls the creditors if the client has money to settle accounts. Clients are misled to believe Credit Solutions will stop any late charges or other fees. They won't help the client if they don't have any money. They don't care if the client is going to be sued and will not offer legal help in any way. They only want to speak with customers with money to settle. Supervisors will not talk to escalted calls that need to be helped. All they care about is being off the phones and making sure all employees are hitting their calls and only helping customers that have money to settle accounts. I actually try to help customers cancel out of the program to save the money being taken. The customer could have used that money to save or put towards their accounts, instead of paying Credit Solutions to just sit there and do nothing. That's all they do there is sit there and do nothing. Just google search credit solutions complaints and you will see what I'm talking about.
I'm only working there cause its real hard to find a job these days. As soon as I find something else I will be quiting. I'm really sick of working here and can not wait to get out. I feel sick at my stomach working for this company, knowing they only care about people not canceling out and keeping the monthly fees to continue to drain customer's accounts.
I really think this company needs to be investigated and brought out to the public. There are some class action law suits on the company, and rightfully so. They delete records from old accounts and get rid of documents all the time. Working there is like going through a revolving door. They hire in huge numbers to get their numbers up then start to *** people out like they're trash off the street. It goes in cycles. Its ridiculous here. I can give you inside information on this company. I can give you a interview and details on this dishonest company.
I am filing complaints to the Better Busines Bureau, EEOC, The Federal Trade Commision and any other agencies and/or organizations to help expose this company.

We ( 3 people) from same city- Asian. Base on what they told us about their service to help us out of debts, we signed the contract with them since Jul 2007. Now is July 2008. They never help us at all! They're ripping us off! We would like to join the class of action against this Credit Solutions of America inc.
They are all a bunch of crooks. The management team is full of high school graduates at best and most are *** and unethical. The COO Doug and CEO Carrie are having an affair and simply want to reap as much money from customers as possible. They lost so much money in the Lending.com sub prime mess that they are in a tight squeeze at this point.
Joe Bergantino BOSTON (WBZ) ― "They promised after three years I would be completely out of debt," said Darlene Bradford of South Weymouth.
"They were going to lower my debt by about 50 percent," Misti Adams of Northampton explained.
Two different women with two very similar stories. They are talking about Credit Solutions -- the largest for-profit debt resolution company in the United States.
"It sounded like a good deal," said Darlene.
"I thought it was great…that was definitely the answer," Misti said.
Both women had gotten into serious credit card debt and turned to Credit Solutions for help. Both ended up deeper in the red. "I think they're taking advantage of people, taking their money, and not doing anything for it."
Here in Massachusetts and across the country, Credit Solutions has a troubled history. They had more than 1,000 consumer complaints filed with the Better Business Bureau over the past three years. Two states charged the company with violating credit counseling laws and Credit Solutions paid out more than $1 million in refunds.
The company is now the subject of a class action suit alleging it's ripping off customers.
Attorney Tyler Weaver is handling the case. "What Credit Solutions does is prey on a group of extremely vulnerable people."
Here's how Credit Solutions works. Clients agree to pay Credit Solutions 15 percent of their total debt. In return, Credit Solutions will negotiate a settlement with credit card companies and reduce the amount the client has to pay by as much as 60 percent.
Credit Solutions tells clients like Darlene and Misti to stop paying their credit card bills and refer the creditors to Credit Solutions. The problem?
"Credit solutions didn't do anything to resolve it?" asked WBZ's Joe Burgantino.
"Nothing," Darlene said. "I think they made two phone calls the whole time."
We got the same story from Misti: "Didn't receive any settlement offers, not one."
But while they waited for Credit Solutions to help, both women racked up late fees and finance charges. "I was just paying someone to get me further in debt, ruin my credit, not act on my behalf whatsoever," says Misti.
Darlene ended up paying Credit Solutions $1,000 and got no debt relief. Misti's debt increased $2,000 because she followed Credit Solution's advice.
"You have to be cautious," says Paula Fleming of the Better Business Bureau.
She says there are a lot of scam artists in the debt resolution business. "If they're asking for money upfront, that's a huge red flag. Typically, you don't pay $500 to someone to look at your debt and help you get out of it."
But as credit card debt piles up in a bad economy, more and more people will become easy prey for those preaching false hope. Some advice: If you have a lot of credit card debt, try working out a deal on your own. As for Credit Solutions, they refused to talk on camera or even issue a statement.

Hey Joe - I assure you I'm a real person and I really got screwed by Credit Solutions. It seems there are quite a few people in that same boat. Like I said - ANYTHING THEY CAN SETTLE, YOU CAN SETTLE YOURSELF! They have the worst customer service I've ever experienced. You can call up there and wait on hold for someone for 10 minutes - then get cut off so you can't leave a message. There is no reason to pay someone to settle your debts when you can do it yourself. Don't trust them. Save yourself the headache and money. Find another alternative. They WILL make matters worse.
Let's be realistic. My account for $125K was just settled this past March. And was done as it was explain to me. And the many horror stories here I'm going to be the positive one. We need help getting out of the deceptive practices of the credit card companies. The sign up for lower interest rate now and bump it to 21% for a late payment. I talked to a lawyer friend to see if its a good idea and he said "It's a regulated just like securities and insurance. Do you really think that if CSA was a scam that they would still be in business?" They helped me. *** these posts are probably from the credit card company employees trying to scare you out. It's a free message board with no real names. For the past 20 years credit card companies have gotten more rights to keep more of our money. So why not use a fake message board to do more of the same. They even changed the freaking bankruptcy laws to that you have to be living in a card board box to file now. You don't have to use CSA use any company you want. But don't let these credit card companies keep you bound to their contracts and steep interest rates. Get out as soon as you can. I did and it's going to cost me on my credit report. But I can actually say that they settled for me. It took me 4 years but guess what I got out from under the credit card companys. I'm a free man!
YES! NEVER EVER EVER use this company. They are a total scam. Any debt they can settle, you can settle your self. If they can't settle it - you can most likely still settle it yourself. They have horrible customer service and they already have an unsatisfactory rating with the BBB - so don't bother complaining to the BBB about them!! I paid them $2000 and they never did settle a debt for me. Now they don't want to give me all my money back. We even got sued by one of the creditors they were "working with". Credit Solutions is a HUGE SCAM - NEVER USE THEM!!
