they were sued recently and have the FTC looking into the company. in the last 6 months more than half of the company has been laid off, last year they filed bankruptcy. the owners have been replaced twice in less than a year. the employees are kept from knowing / working in the same buildings to avoid knowledge of the process' being used. The process DOES work, but it is not utilized to be effective, rather much more defective and the consumers don't know how it really works. the employees don't either because you have to believe in a program in order to sell it.
want an unbiased, realistic understanding of how (settlement, negotiation, arbitration) it works then talk to any company that belongs to tasc at
www.tascsite.org
every member has to tell the clients the exact process' used and is required to disclose to someone how the could affect them. I HAD TO LEARN THE HARD WAY.
The owner used to own a *** business, they threw parties all the time. I workedthere for almost 2 years and then quit due to finding out the hard way, yes I was a client. I was served papers in just 1 year, but I called and negotiated a better settlement than the director of settlement could, on my own!!
and more than once! "CSA" even made threats to me about settling and me being sued by another creditor. it was like i was being attacked by the company that I worked for.
p.s. the process works, but you better work with a company that really knows the process...
oh yeah, and the statements about the newsgroups you ask??? Carrie the COO has connections, she pulled some strings and had the media put out a commercial of sorts for them, oh and the J.D. Power Certified??? It has to be bought! they can only work in about 30 states because they keep getting in trouble, AND for more info...
I am a current employee for Richardson based Credit Solutions. I have something that should be brought out to the public. This company is misleading customers. They are ripping people off!
Credit Solutions is a debt settlement company. They settle customer's accounts. But there is alot of misleading the customers. They charge 15% of the total debt for their services. All the company does is advise customers to stop paying their bills and promises they can settle for a low amount of money. The sales department just wants people to sign up so they can start to drain people's bank accounts. The company only calls the creditors if the client has money to settle accounts. Clients are misled to believe Credit Solutions will stop any late charges or other fees. They won't help the client if they don't have any money. They don't care if the client is going to be sued and will not offer legal help in any way. They only want to speak with customers with money to settle. Supervisors will not talk to escalted calls that need to be helped. All they care about is being off the phones and making sure all employees are hitting their calls and only helping customers that have money to settle accounts. I actually try to help customers cancel out of the program to save the money being taken. The customer could have used that money to save or put towards their accounts, instead of paying Credit Solutions to just sit there and do nothing. That's all they do there is sit there and do nothing. Just google search credit solutions complaints and you will see what I'm talking about.
I'm only working there cause its real hard to find a job these days. As soon as I find something else I will be quiting. I'm really sick of working here and can not wait to get out. I feel sick at my stomach working for this company, knowing they only care about people not canceling out and keeping the monthly fees to continue to drain customer's accounts.
I really think this company needs to be investigated and brought out to the public. There are some class action law suits on the company, and rightfully so. They delete records from old accounts and get rid of documents all the time. Working there is like going through a revolving door. They hire in huge numbers to get their numbers up then start to *** people out like they're trash off the street. It goes in cycles. Its ridiculous here. I can give you inside information on this company. I can give you a interview and details on this dishonest company.
I am filing complaints to the Better Busines Bureau, EEOC, The Federal Trade Commision and any other agencies and/or organizations to help expose this company.
It really sadden me that the former employees have nothing good to say. For those of you who mention "allegedly" the company past you maybe been the reason for that. When lawyers charge a flat fee or fee you never post them on this site and complain. The program will work only if you do your part. My family are enrolled in the program and it's great. Just like the mortgage industry everyone is blamming the lenders well it's not their fault. It's time to take responsibility for your own debt. Credit cards companies are the biggest rip off..

Everything everyone said on here negative about credit solutions is true. I was in management their and left to get away from such a dishonest, horribly ran company. Look else where if you need help why risk working with a company that has these claims against them. If we were a credit card company we would not say go else where to another settlement company. If you want help do research.

I would have to disagree with the former employee comments about credit solutions, Doug Van Arsdale and Carrie Kelleher. Working with them at both Lending.com and Credit solutuions I have to stand behind everything they say from personal experience. They are great leaders and are 100% about their customers and employees which I have witnessed personaly. Running a business you have to make sure you have all the right people in place to get your company to that next level. If you dont have what it takes then I'll be the first to say we dont waste time making a change to improve our services. The "Former Employee" was one of these people let go because they simply couldnt get the job done and was aprt of the so called layoff and is a little bitter becasue of losing their job. This company was lacking customer service which is the reason why we have so many complaints and is the true fact why I am here now. We restructured the company and got all the right people in place to provide customers for life and excellent service. You will all see a huge change in our customer service focus and these complaints will soon dissapear. Dont let a few bitter people scare you into not doing business with Credit Solutions. Calls us yourself and you will see we are focused on each client. Our goal is to change our customers lives and help them live a debt free lifstyle with excellent service.
why is it so hard to get the straight scoop? Do these companies do what they say they are going to do or not? Any success stories, please share. Thanks

I worked there too and saw firsthand not only how CS treats their customs but their employees. All they care about is making money.
Resqdebt was supposedly started by the former CEO, Matt Reivitt, who left and took about 30 employees with him. It was portrayed as a coup, that the former CEO was dishonest and was starting a competing company. Upon closer inspection, it seems Doug Van Arsdale, CS's CEO, and Reivitt made a deal and that they're partners. Resqdebt took over one of CS's buildings. Van Arsdale also owns lending.com and that name is still on the building Resqdebt took over. Do you really think Pepsi would allow Coke to keep a sign on a building Pepsi uses? I don't think so.
Van Arsdale and lending.com COO Carrie Kelleher are liars. Someone said they're having an affair. I don't know about that because I'm pretty sure Van Arsdale is in the closet. He protests a little too much, if you know what I mean.
Credit Solutions throws employees away like they're garbage. A quote from Carrie Kelleher: "I don't give a *** about you. There are 2 million people in the DFW area. You can easily be replaced." Might be true, but who treats people like that? Then you read their job ads that all say how they value their employees. What a crock. Their VP of Human Resources recently left after 4 years, and she's Carrie's SISTER. What does that tell you?
Stay away from this company. Don't use their services--they lie to get you to sign a contract, make their commission and then move on to the next victim without caring what happens to you. Don't work for them unless you only plan on staying while you find a better job with an honest company.
