They lied from the get-go. We have great credit, why would I want to go into default with our accounts and go to collections?? They didn't tell us about that until after they took our first $300. Then they proceeded to take out another 300 after we already canceled with them. We've been fighting back and fourth with them and finally threatened to get a lawyer and to go to the news about them. They are in a 'process' of giving us back only 300. But we have to sign away all liability by doing this. Fraud.

And another thing... I have a credit score of 726... not too bad, at all. I pay bills on time always. So please don't say that I am one of those people that can't control my finances... there's much better ways to use your money then situations like this.

Obviously 'NotAScam' didn't read my situation very well. I was lied to from the beginning. I have great credit and would NEVER put myself in default to 'get rid' of credit... had I been explained that's the situation I'd be put in, I would never have agreed to it. And by the way, I never gave up. I was fooled from the beginning and barely got in the program (after they took much of my money) when I heard the 'truth' of the situation. I'm not saying it's not for ANYBODY... but it's definitely for those who don't want to go into DEFAULT. And I believe that any company you are paying money to needs to be honest from the beginning. It's a joke to me still.

100% of the complaints they receive are from customers that do not complete the program. The program depends a huge amount on the customer putting this money aside so inevitably a lot of these people who cannot control their finances to start with drop out in the end... do your researcg and I don't mean online scam forums written by competitors such as this one, they won't lie to you so ask them directly. Will I get sued? Will I get creditor calls? Will I get hidden fees? You will get all the answers you need if you just ask. I would highly reccomend them www.creditsolutions.com

:? now I'm totally confused. Will someone please contact me directly to let me know what we should do? We just signed on with them Thursday the 24th, so we are within the 3 day time limit when you can cancel your account. I feel helpless at this point. I don't know what to do. I thought everything sounded great with them, but after reading all these posts, I'm now very confused. thanks!

By the way, any one person can go to collections with their accounts, on their own, and settle with companies. No one should be paying a company 15% to do something that you or I could do. And they don't back you if you're sued???? Nah... no way.

Well, to be told AFTER they took my money the REAL situation is wrong, in my opinion. Had I know we had to let things go to collections, my husband and I would have NEVER agreed to this. Our credit is too good for that. We were misguided from day one. Then they proceeded to take more money from my account A MONTH after I canceled the deal. Then they only wanted to give me half back? We ended up calling them EVERY SINGLE DAY and told them we would sue them if we did not get our 600 back. We even went to our news station to see about a story if they did not give us our money back. To this DEBT FREE writer, I'm glad it worked for you, but this company was dishonest from day one with me. And honestly, what did you pay them to do?????? YOU saved the money, YOU let your accounts go into default, YOU had to do a majority of the work. What did these people do? Not much. They did nothing, nothing in the time we were with them but 'curve' the real story on what they really are about. I recommend people like DCC that will cut interest rates in half and your debts will be paid off quick. They were honest and did the job greatly. Good luck to people out there. Credit Solutions is by far the right choice to make.

Credit Solutions changed my life for the Better. I have completed my program and now living debt free with a fresh start. I would have to disagree with everyone here. Sorry I'm a customer and it sounds like there has been a little miscommunication. It's up to us to save money to settle accounts and once I saved money I had a settlement offer within a day on most of my accounts and they were for 35% of the oustanding balance. I have now paid off all my debts and very pleased with services provided and would refer my familly and friends to use their services. Until you have money they will not negotaite settlement offers because once it expires and you dont have money that offer increases which happened on one of my accounts I was trying to settle. From my experience this is a partnership and have to work as a team to get your accounts settled. I think most of the customers complaining are clients who dont have money to settle accounts and if you dont have money or the ability to save you will never get out of debt. Creditors called me several times each day saying that Credit solutions has never contacted them and I soon found out that creditors were lying and making one last deseprate attemp to scare me into paying 100% of the amount due. These creditors are paid commission and they more they collect from us the higher their commision check will be. Everything made sense now that I"m debt free and finished the program....

Also, I did put a stop payment with this company through my bank. It was a $29 fee, but it was worth it so they can't dip in as they feel like. This company has got to stop taking money from people. They said they contacted our creditors to 'cancel' yet my creditors never even heard from them to begin with. :(
