We've been with Credit Solutions for a little over a year and I have ended up settling 3 of our accounts myself (they have not done anything with ONE account), once I was served trial court papers to appear in court. I called the law offices and worked out settlements myself! Leading up to this, I had done everything Credit Solutions told me to do-fax paperwork received, etc.I was told we would receive monthly status calls, only received one the first month.
Was served a summons a week and a half ago for another account, again, Credit Solutions has done nothing to work with credit card company to settle and now am in same boat. Have spoken to 4 different representatives in Support Services (A JOKE!) dept who all told me they would call me back, each one knowing how frustrated we were with lack of service and apologizing for their lack of service and promising that I was now their client, and they would do whatever necessary to provide the customer service we deserved and were promised by them.
Was also told when asked to speak with supervisor that there weren't any, that they were their own supervisor and that if we wanted to speak to one, we'd have to go through the representative first. I eventually got a supervisor's name but could not get an extension because the supervisor's aren't usually "on the floor".
Needless to say, I have not had ONE callback from any one of these 4 people! One woman had the nerve to tell me her phone was acting up, can she call me RIGHT back when she disconnected her phone and "rebooted". Never heard back from her, either.
Do not fall into this trap and we will do everything in our power to get our money back and spread the word about this horrible company.
The sad thing is that I did a lot of research on debt settlement companies and went with this one as they were backed by JD Power and Associates (at the time-don't see that on their site anymore...) among other reasons.
Would love to hear from anyone else out there who has had the horrible experience of working with this company and what you may be doing or have done to get your money back and spread the word.

1. Written by Christopher, on 26-09-2009 20:04 I was with Credit Solutions for 22 months and ended up getting out of debt (22k) to be exact. The people that are making negative posts on this website just could not hold their end of the deal. If you cannot save the little bit of money that they ask of you then you will fail horribly with the program. They settled my Bank of America account for 30 percent of what I owed. Rest your fingers people. JD Power does their research.
2. Written by G, on 23-08-2009 21:55 I know of someone who used Credit Solutions of America, and ended up getting sued by creditors. Look up their info on BBB and see for yourself. It's a scam! It's sad that they take advantage of people during their time of need!
3. Written by Monster Drink, on 26-09-2008 23:20 if you are with CSA.... You WILL get sued on 1 or all of your accounts. It is not a debt consolidation company, which many people think it is. if you can't save, this program won't work for you. if you're dissatisfied, ask for refund and make BBB and Attorney General threats to get a refund. If you ask for a refund, they'll tell you they have a NO refund policy even if they didn't do jack for you, that is why you have to threaten them with the BBB, and Attorney General. If you fax in info, follow up b/c they tend to lose faxes b/c they outsourced that job to mexico.

5. Written by Emdburg, on 23-08-2008 20:01 Nice to hear that I wasn't the only one who fell for this! Used to hear about companies like this on shows like DateLine and thought only idiots fell for things like this! I too went with them because I thougth JD Power & Associates did there homework...guess I shouldn't be so trusting. I also got served papers from a creditor and have had to settle all my accounts myself...which I also learned isn't that hard! I found an attorney in Seattle that has is sueing them in a Class Action Law suit...I hope to jump on that band wagon!

7. Written by Consider This, on 10-08-2008 04:29 A. CSA has one of the worst BBB ratings possible B. CSA *needed to approach* Ripoffreport.com for help C. CSA deserves to rob you of your money if you still choose them after reading the above
